In 10-15 September 2012 there was conducted a
training for teachers of Baku Modern School by Chair of Psychology in Tauro

Hakimi and Pre-School Director Tempe Isaiah Tamar Andrews. Dr. Hakimi presented classic and modern
education theories , beside it she did a discussion around this issue in a wide

attention of the teachers modern strategies about children’s psychological
preparations to school.
Tamar
Andrews spoke about theoretical and applied principals of the lessons which are
being done with traditional and active learning methods and presented their
properties in a wide range. At the same time during the 3 days there was a work
with the teachers about preparing lesson models on different subjects. The
trainers asked for the teachers not only prepare lesson models but also
substantiate the lessons by theoretical aspects. Because of that the teachers
had to comment to the lessons which they prepared , from the point of view both
traditional and modern learning theory.
On
the last day of the training Tamar Andrews organized an activity which was
dedicated to skills about protection of life safety , and showed experiments
with the presence of the teachers. At the end of the training the teachers were
given creative tasks. In the next course there will be worked on the tasks, and
